  1. My product uses conventions by started off with a dialogue. Starting off with a dialogue allows my product to give off the vibe of a R&B video. Doing so allows the audience to stay engaged with the song and music video. As this goes on the viewer can listen to the lyrics closely and find a deeper meaning into what the song stands for. Also using lighting to give it the R&B affect since most R&B videos start off with a darkened screen. Throughout the music video it will also get darker giving it emotion. My product represent social groups by displaying the purpose of the song. Allows viewers to understand how some people are treated throughout their lives by people. 2. My product engages with the audience by almost making it feel like they are in the video themselves. I was able to achieve such a engagement with my camera angles throughout the music video. Throughout the music video it would make the audience feel as if they were walking side by side with me. Also e...

My Grenade Music Video

Image
I enjoyed making this video. My editing skills have improved a lot since I have taken this class. I enjoyed the transition phases in the video. I was able to sync the video with the song that I chose to do this music video on. Grenade by Bruno Mars. The purpose of the video was to give the meaning of the song. This allows the audience to understand what this song was created for and the background of the lyrics. I was able to edit a R&B vibe into the music. Showing the genre of the song how it correlates to the song and the music video. Allowing my editing skills and filming to improve significantly.

Day 1 of my editing was complete on December 3, 2020. After day 1 I began my last and final day of editing on December 5, 2020. This 2 day break gave me time to recuperate from the first day of editing. Allowing me to prepare for my final day of editing. On day 1 of editing I was able to edit the meaning of the song into the music video. Allowing the viewers to get the full meaning of the song not just watching the video. As they listen to the song with the lyrics and as they see the editing it gives the R&B vibe. On day 2 of editing I double checked on all of the editing that was done. I made sure the song was in line with the music video. This allowed to figure out if I needed to reshoot any scenes that don't go along with the song and its lyrics. Once double checking over the scenes and the song. I then checked if the music video was over the and under the required time limit. I then cut a couple parts of the music video off in order to shave off time. The cutting of these ...

I have begin my editing process. Once I completed all the filming for my music video. On December 2, 2020 is when I completed all my filming. Once done I started my editing today. December 3, 2020. For my first edit I needed to make the video more crisp. I editing the lighting on the first scene of the music video. So it wasn't as dark. Doing this allows me to give off a more R&B vibe as seen in many of r&b music videos. After doing that edit I then went to edit the sound into the music video. So it correlated with the music video so the music video goes along with the song. This enables me to give the purpose in the music video and give the deeper meaning  of it. So your not just listening to the song your understanding the song is talking about. Why it was written and sung in this type of way.
