Editing Blog

 Day 1 of my editing was complete on December 3, 2020. After day 1 I began my last and final day of editing on December 5, 2020. This 2 day break gave me time to recuperate from the first day of editing. Allowing me to prepare for my final day of editing. On day 1 of editing I was able to edit the meaning of the song into the music video. Allowing the viewers to get the full meaning of the song not just watching the video. As they listen to the song with the lyrics and as they see the editing it gives the R&B vibe. On day 2 of editing I double checked on all of the editing that was done. I made sure the song was in line with the music video. This allowed to figure out if I needed to reshoot any scenes that don't go along with the song and its lyrics. Once double checking over the scenes and the song. I then checked if the music video was over the and under the required time limit. I then cut a couple parts of the music video off in order to shave off time. The cutting of these parts did not affect the music video and it all aligned perfectly.

Jordan Givens Nike Commercial

    This commercial talks about my product. My product was based on Nike. This was a Nike commercial on how you can see many athletes use Nike products or gear during their training or workouts. It gives a storyline throughout the commercial so you are able to understand what is going on. During this commercial it was hard work to make. Through each scene the transitions are very clean cut. This commercial had at least 2 different camera angles. Giving it that look of a real commercial to keep the audiences attention. The lighting during this commercial was everything a real Nike commercial would have. That natural sun light giving it a natural look as if during the commercial a actual work is taking place. The editing process for this commercial was the best part. It was pretty challenging but I was able to edit it properly. The background sound gives it that official Nike commercial vibe. Genre Research: Spiderman 2

 The movie spiderman 2 displays all of my elements that are to be used in the final task that I have chosen to base it off of. During spiderman 2 all aspects of an action film are displayed to the best you might ever see. The element fight is produced in a great portion of the movie. An example of this would be when spiderman is seen to be fighting sandman when he is trying to rob a money truck. Spiderman then swings in and pulls the door off the money truck where sandman has taken over. They then fight in the truck and the sandman is defeated where spider-man then saves the day and is put on the news. Another element that is used would be chases. As sandman is the scene inside of a train track spider then chases after him in his new suit. Called venom this suit grants him even stronger strength as he chases and takes down sandman into the sewer area where he then gets super soaked and is unable to continue fighting.
